Ski test package
Description
The “ski test” in Zermatt is one of the most beautiful experiences for skiers in early winter. Skiing at its best when only experts are on the slopes. The drawing card is guaranteed snow, exceptionally well prepared pistes and the latest ski models for testing.
The package includes the following services:
- Overnights (hotel or holiday apartment)
- International ski pass
- Ticket test center (ski testing and entertainment)
The test period is from 18 October to 1 December 2024. During this period, a package can be booked for 1 to 5 nights. From two ski days, the ski pass insurance PassProtect is included in the price. The PassProtect policy covers the cost of ski pass, ski hire and ski lessons in the event of accident, illness or adverse weather conditions. Find more information here.
Only skis can be drawn in the test center. Rentals for ski equipment are available in the Zermatt sports stores.

Information about the ski area
Each room must be placed separately in the shopping basket. If you want to reserve two rooms for a total of four people, first put one room for two people in the shopping basket, then add another room for two people.
Please ensure that your ski pass is valid for the Ski Test dates.
Conditions:
- Accommodation can be cancelled/rebooked in exceptional cases and on request only.
- Any room upgrades and additional services, such as massages, etc. must be booked at the accommodation.
- The cancellation terms of the accommodation and the gerneral Terms and Conditions of the Zermatt Bergbahnen AG apply.
Can I book the Ski Test without accommodation?
Zermatt Tourism only offers the Ski Test package as a complete package.
I’m spending four days in Zermatt, but want to do the Ski Test on two days only. Is that OK?
The overnight accommodation is linked to the ski pass. This means that you can Ski Test on as many days as you have booked overnight accommodation.
Can children ski test too?
The test center does not offer skiing for children, which is why the Ski Test package can only be booked for adults.
Is it possible to hire touring skis or snowboards?

We’re travelling as a couple, but only one person wants to use the Ski Test package.
You have to book the package online for one person in a double room and contact the hotel in advance to register the second person. Eventually a surcharge must be paid at the accomodation.
